The war poem, Zang Tumb Tumb 1912 by the Italian Futurist poet Filippo Marinetti (1876-1944) was transposed into a series of installations as memorials to war Zang Tumb Tumb I, II & III . These were both Illuminated architectural structures that evolved from the typographical layout of this poem that evokes the forms of bombs dropping and antiaircraft guns referencing Marinetti’s experiences in the trenches 1912.
